Update placeholder: July 2019

Roughly 200+ pages written over the last 200+ days. Looking forward to typing it up in November as my NaNoWriMo.

Going to return to Finland after 8 years away at the end of August; revisit some old spots and try some new things I never got to do the first time around. Won't venture again bar maybe a late 2019 trip to Scotland to have all the UK in the bag before it leaves.

Work is fine - 10 more months give or take until the shutdown. Promoted again to a pure training role, which is good.

Saw Fleetwood Mac in London in June; that'll probably be my last time ever. The Pretender opened and were really good. Got to see London for the first time which was cool, need to go back to see more. As for concerts would love to go see faves like Florence + The Machine, Sigrid or Sia or whoever else.

Actually managed to date a lady for a few weeks there, it was lovely while it lasted but my bad.  Onward and upwards, I guess.

Back to running once a week, up to 4km hoping to keep adding 400-800m each week until I'm back where I'm comfortable. Mostly focused on weight-training etc and have totally changed my body it's crazy. BDD is dead.

Halfway through Goodreads reading challenge, mine is 19 in 2019. Hope I make it this time and do 20 in 2020!

Not studying anything but will attempt the driving theory again in the autumn, feck it. Third time lucky?

Playing a lot of FF12 lately. Just need 4 more achievements: Bestiary, Trials Mode, Finish Game, All Achievements. I have about 90% of 1st one, could easily do story mode at this point but not exactly relishing Trials Mode (Yiazmat AGAIN, Christ).

Back is somewhat fecked - no muscular damage but a cracked or otherwise not 100% disc from my spill in December 2017. Going to physio very soon!

Playing in an excellent D&D 5e campaign at the moment. My first Wizard, Storm, is doing just swell. Finally playing magical characters after years of bashing things and occasional skill-monkeys. Her apprentice, Lynn, a Wildmagic Sorcerer, is like the breakout hero of the story. Given that I'm currently playing as of July 2019 a 4th level Human/Wizard/Werebear/Wildshape/Lawful Evil character I might end up as the Big Bad!

So 2019: solid 3.5 out of 5 so far, hoping it does the same ratings for the second half.
